Terms of use
The rules that apply to using Jipup: the service, credits, subscriptions, the connection to your CRM and each party's responsibilities.
Last updated: October 6, 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms of use (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Jipup service, on app.jipup.com, through the Chrome extension and through the integrations offered. The service is published by JIPUP, a French Société par actions simplifiée (SAS) with a share capital of 1 000 €, registered under RCS Paris 999 376 775, whose registered office is at 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France ("Jipup").
Creating an account or using the service constitutes unreserved acceptance of the Terms. The DPA forms an integral part of them. The privacy policy describes how personal data is processed.
The service is reserved for professionals acting for the purposes of their business. The customer is the legal entity or professional on whose behalf the account is opened; the user who accepts the Terms represents that they have authority to bind it.
2. Description of the service
Jipup provides in particular:
- finding business contact details (email, mobile phone, LinkedIn page) from information supplied by the customer, by querying several data providers;
- enrichment tables, fed by file import, by a Sales Navigator search or from the customer's CRM;
- agents that analyse, clean and enrich the customer's CRM (contact and company enrichment, duplicate detection and merging, job change tracking, qualification), according to the configuration the customer chooses.
Features evolve. Jipup may add, change or remove them, without removing, during a period already paid for, a feature essential to the plan subscribed.
3. Account and access
The customer provides accurate information when signing up and keeps it up to date. Credentials are personal and confidential; any action taken from an account is deemed taken by its holder.
A workspace can bring several users together. Only its owners and administrators can subscribe, connect a CRM and change the settings that commit the workspace.
4. Credits and prices
The service runs on credits. The credit cost of each action is shown in the application before it is launched.
Contact searches and enrichments only consume credits when a result is obtained: the credits required are reserved at launch, then only the result actually found is charged and the rest of the reservation is released.
Credits may be offered at sign-up. Their number is shown in the application; they have no monetary value and are neither refundable nor transferable.
Prices are shown in euros excluding VAT. VAT at the applicable rate is added.
5. Subscription, payment and cancellation
- The subscription is monthly or annual. Each period, it grants the credit volume of the chosen plan, which is added to the existing balance.
- The annual subscription is paid in a single payment, with a 10% discount; twelve months of credits are granted on payment, then on each renewal.
- Payment is made by card, through Stripe. An invoice is issued for each payment.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same duration until it is cancelled.
- The customer can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription. The end date is shown when cancelling; no further instalment is charged after it.
- Amounts paid for a period that has started are not refunded, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
- Credits can also be bought on their own, according to the offers available. Their validity period, where there is one, is stated in the offer at the time of purchase.
In the event of non-payment, Jipup may suspend access to paid features until payment is made, after informing the customer.
6. CRM connection and agents
By connecting their CRM, the customer authorises Jipup to read and modify their records within the permissions granted at connection and the settings of each agent. The customer chooses the records processed, the actions allowed, how often agents run and, where relevant, manual approval of proposed actions.
Some actions cannot be undone in the CRM, in particular merging two records. A customer who allows automatic merges accepts that they are final; they can require manual approval at any time.
The customer can disconnect their CRM at any time from the application settings or from their CRM. Agents then stop; data already written to the CRM stays there.
7. Customer obligations
The customer undertakes to:
- use the service lawfully, in particular in accordance with the GDPR and the rules governing direct marketing, and have a legal basis for the processing they carry out with the data obtained;
- not use the contact details obtained to send unlawful or unsolicited communications in breach of applicable rules;
- not resell, redistribute or make the data obtained available to third parties outside their own business;
- not attempt to access the service by unintended automated means, circumvent its technical or billing limits, or extract its code or workings;
- not send the service special-category data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR.
8. Personal data
For account data, Jipup acts as controller, under the privacy policy. For CRM data and data supplied for enrichment, Jipup acts as the customer's processor, under the DPA. The providers involved are listed on the Subprocessors page.
The customer can request deletion of their account at hello@jipup.com. Data is deleted within 30 days, except accounting records, kept for 10 years as required by law.
9. Quality of results and availability
Contact details and information come from third-party data providers, public sources and artificial intelligence models. Jipup uses reasonable means to make them relevant, but cannot guarantee that they are accurate, complete or up to date. The customer should check them before any significant decision.
Jipup strives to keep the service continuously available, without any availability guarantee. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, because a provider or the customer's CRM is unavailable, or for any cause beyond its control.
10. Liability
Jipup is bound by an obligation of means. It can only be held liable for proven fault, and only for direct damage. Liability for indirect damage, including loss of revenue, customers, data or opportunity, is excluded.
Except in the case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, Jipup's total liability, for all causes combined, is limited to the amounts paid by the customer for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The customer is solely responsible for how they use the data obtained and for the configuration of their agents.
11. Intellectual property
The service, its code, interfaces, trademarks and content belong to Jipup or its licensors. The customer is granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use, for the life of their account and for the needs of their business.
The customer remains the owner of the data they supply and of their CRM data.
12. Suspension and termination
If the customer seriously breaches the Terms, in particular the obligations above, Jipup may suspend or close the account after a formal notice that remains unremedied for fifteen days, or immediately when the breach endangers the service, its other users or third parties.
13. Changes to the Terms
Jipup may change the Terms. The customer is informed of any substantial change by email or in the application before it takes effect; if they refuse it, they can cancel their subscription. Continued use of the service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
14. Governing law and disputes
The Terms are governed by French law. The parties seek an amicable solution before any legal action. Failing that, any dispute relating to their formation, interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
